Free Access & Usage Agreement

Terms of Service

The rules for using Tickr: accounts and roles, fair use, free access, future paid plans, and closing your account.

Last updated: 1 November 2026Effective: 1 November 2026Privacy Policy

1.Agreement to these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Tickr website and application (the “Service”) provided by Tickr Software Inc. (“Tickr”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you accept them for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind it.

2.Service usage

Tickr is a software-as-a-service product for teams and organisations to track, review, and report on time.

  • An organisation holds one or more workspaces and has one Owner.
  • Each workspace has its own people, projects, settings, and time.
  • Access to features depends on the role each workspace gives you.

We may improve, change, or add features over time. If we remove a feature your team relies on, we will give Owners reasonable notice.

3.User responsibilities

Account security

  • Keep your credentials confidential and use a strong password.
  • Tell us at ct.tickrtime@gmail.com straight away if you suspect unauthorised use of your account.
  • You are responsible for activity under your account.

Workspace roles

  • Use the Service within the role each workspace gives you.
  • Do not attempt to access workspaces, entries, or reports your role does not allow, or to get around permissions.
  • Owners and Admins are responsible for who they invite and the roles and rates they assign.

Fair usage of exports

  • Use exports for your own organisation’s work.
  • Do not send automated requests at a volume that degrades the Service for others. One export runs at a time, and we may apply reasonable rate limits.
  • Do not resell, scrape, or reverse-engineer the Service.

Acceptable use

  • Do not upload unlawful content, malware, or content that infringes others’ rights.
  • Do not use the Service to harass others or to break any law.

4.Free access

  • Tickr is currently free for every user, with all features included. No credit card is required.
  • There is no trial period. Your account does not expire while free access continues.
  • Free access is subject to these Terms, including fair use of the Service.

5.Future paid plans

  • We plan to introduce paid plans in the future. Until then, nothing is charged.
  • We will notify Owners at least 30 days before any paid plan applies to an existing organisation, with the prices and what changes.
  • Nothing is billed automatically. A paid plan applies to your organisation only after an Owner chooses it.
  • If you do not choose a paid plan, your organisation keeps a free plan with core features.

Closing your account

  • You can close your account at any time from your settings or by emailing us.
  • Your raw data export (CSV, Excel, and PDF) is available immediately. No request or waiting period.

6.Your data

You own the data you and your organisation put into Tickr. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and display it only to provide and improve the Service, as described in our Privacy Policy. You can export it to CSV, Excel, or PDF at any time.

7.Suspension and termination

  • You may stop using the Service and close your account at any time.
  • We may suspend or terminate access if you materially breach these Terms, or use the Service in a way that risks harm to others, with notice where practical.

Data retention after termination

When an account is closed, your organisation’s data is kept for 30 days so you can export it or reactivate. After that period it is permanently deleted, including from backups within 35 days.

8.Service availability

We work to keep Tickr available around the clock and target 99.9% monthly uptime, excluding scheduled maintenance. This is a target, not a guarantee, unless a separate service-level agreement in your order says otherwise.

  • We announce planned maintenance in advance where we can.
  • Immediate data export: you can export all your data at any time, including when you close your account.
  • The Service may be affected by events outside our reasonable control, such as network failures or third-party outages.

9.Disclaimer of warranties

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

10.Limitation of liability

  • To the extent permitted by law, neither party is liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits or revenue.
  • Each party’s total liability arising out of these Terms is limited to the fees you paid to Tickr in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
  • These limits do not apply to liability that cannot be limited by law.

11.Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify Owners at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the Service after that date means you accept the updated Terms.

12.Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ahmedabad, Gujarat.
